When looking into buying a domestic cleaning franchise you are already top of the game. The UK domestic cleaning industry is huge and offers up fantastic opportunities for those looking to buy into this hugely popular sector of the UK franchise industry. With literally dozens of domestic cleaning franchises available you can be sure there is not shortage to choose from however as with all franchises the right research must be done to ensure the opportunity is the right one for you.
Before going in too heavily with research the best advice I can give is to first look at the available choices. Buying franchise magazines and looking through Internet franchise directories, of which there are many, can give you a good idea of what is on offer. From green cleaning through to commercial cleaning franchises and industrial cleaning franchises you will find that the choices on offer are varied and numerous. Your first step should be to pick a half dozen or so and put some requests in to the franchisor for the free franchise packs they post out. Once you have these you can begin to read up on the full package they have to offer and start making a short list of those which look to be of interest.
On having your short list the time has come to research each one to ensure it is not only a viable opportunity but one which will work in your local area and has a good franchise management team behind it. Your first step should be to ask the franchisor for a list of existing franchisees and start to contact a random sample of them. Asking the existing franchisee base some good questions will allow you to gain valuable feedback into whether the franchise opportunity hold up to what it says in the promotional materials.
Key questions you may ask are:
How did you find the initial training?
What is the ongoing support like
Do your earnings match up to those described in the franchise info pack?
How long did it take to earn back your initial investment?
Asking these will give you a great idea of how the current franchisee network is performing and whether the opportunity itself is a viable one.
Your second stage of research is to find out whether your target area is likely to be able to support the franchise you want to buy into. If there are already several domestic cleaning franchises in close proximity to you then perhaps you would just be adding to an already saturated market. However perhaps there is room for a domestic cleaning franchise which uses “green” products only or maybe there is a need for a wheelie bin cleaning franchise. Doing your research into the local area and ensuring the demographics can support the cleaning franchise of your choice will mean that you do not end up with what is a good opportunity but that is just not going to work due to over saturation of the market.
Once you are sure that the franchise is a viable option, both in the franchise itself and your local area, you can begin the process of buying into the franchise. This usually means paying a deposit and doing some intensive training to get you up to speed. The great thing about franchising as opposed to going it alone with a stand-alone business is that you are buying into a tried and tested system. It should all be fairly each to pick up and in many cases your franchisor even offers to gain you your first handful of clients to kick-start your business. As such you can start earning from week one and in no time at all have a tidy little franchised business that can keep you and your family for life.
All that being said, please make sure you do not go down the route that many people do. Jumping into a franchise head first without doing the proper research can only lead to disaster. In many cases where someone has parted with many thousands of pounds and failed to make a success of their franchised business, it is not because of the franchise itself but because of a multitude of reasons, which could have been avoided, had the correct research been done.
Best wishes and good luck to finding the perfect franchise opportunity for you

Susan Boyle’s moving performance on Britain’s Got Talent reminds us that we should not judge a book by its cover. You have to read the whole things or at least a good portion to really understand what it is all about. The same rule applies when evaluating a franchise business. Specifically:
1. Keep an open mind
Just because you may be familiar with a company, do not assume that you can simply tell from the product or service what your income, role, or lifestyle will be like. Thus it is critical to focus on the business model, not the widget.
2. Keep your emotions in check
Emotions — good and bad — can get in the way of objectivity. Thus, if necessary, pretend like you are a reporter trying to gather as much information as possible about a particular franchise company.
3. Keep the main thing the main thing
Information gathered should be trying to answer four key questions:
a) Does the business model work?
b) Do you want to execute the business model?
c) Will this model take you to your goals and dreams?
d) In other words, is this an owner’s role you will enjoy in the long-term?
By trying to answer these questions through a process of mutual due diligence rather than getting bogged down in the minutia of the details, franchisee candidates are better able to stay focus on what is really important — finding and investing in a franchise business to help create their desired future.

Hopefully you will find this household domestic cleaning tip that gives you advice on cleaning your coffee maker to be beneficial. You will also find below a further link to other domestic cleaning tips that make up this series of articles that I am currently publishing on a regular basis.
Cleaning tip No66 gives you advice on cleaning coffee makers.
If you are a regular drinker of coffee, you need to clean out your coffee maker at the absolute minimum of once per month.
The best way of cleaning your coffee maker is by mixing one part vinegar and one part water inside your coffee pot. Pour the mixed water and vinegar into your coffee maker and then proceed to let it run through. If your coffee maker has a large amount of mineral buildup inside it then repeat the process again if required. Finally after completing this task run clean water through the coffee maker to get rid of any traces of vinegar odor.

Well I firmly believe that size really does matter, you do not always receive a better service from using a bigger size, sometimes a small size really does service your needs far better and is often much more conscious of your individual needs and requirements and will look after you far better.
I have found through experience that the bigger the size the more often you are left disapointed.
The smaller the size that I have gone for the more satisfied I have ultimately being.
How have you found size in your experience have you found that you have had greater satisfaction from bigger or smaller sizes?
Oh just to clarify the point, I am referring to the size of businesses and how they treat their customers.

A maidservant or in modern terms a maid is usually a female person who is employed within the domestic service industry. A maidservant was once more commonly part of a much larger more elaborate hierarchy in large houses.
In recent times the domestic cleaning maid may be the only domestic cleaner that upper and even middle-income households can afford to hire.
Maids in general can offer the household a wide range of typical domestic cleaning chores such as cooking, ironing, clothes washing, cleaning the house, grocery shopping, walking the family dog, and even taking care of the families children.

I hope that you will appreciate this household domestic cleaning tip that offers you advice on sweeping your chimney to be beneficial. You will also find below a link to other household domestic cleaning tips that make up this series of small articles that I am currently publishing on a regular basis.
Advice on chimney sweeping domestic cleaning tip No65
This domestic cleaning tip is or should be very obvious. If you have a open coal fire and instead of hiring a professional chimney sweep you decide to sweep your chimney yourself make sure that you always cover up your carpets and furniture with old sheets.
Also and more importantly secure a board up against your fire surround and make an hole in it just big enough for your chimney sweep rods to go through as this will drastically reduce the amount of soot that escapes into your room.
This advice if followed will most certainly save your carpets and furniture requiring some intensive cleaning.
New domestic cleaning tips are always more than welcome.

I am currently writing a series of small articles, which are aimed at what I call domestic cleaning reduction! Strictly speaking these cleaning tips are focused more on the minimising of the household domestic cleaning requirements within your household, by explaining ways that you can reduce the spread of dirt, grime and germs throughout your property.
Cleaning from top to bottom
When cleaning your property it is always advisable to start at the top and work downwards. If you start at the bottom and work up you will often discover that you will be messing up the bottom again once you dust and clean the higher levels, causing you to have to do the job twice.
New cleaning reduction tips are always more than welcome.

A few years ago when Alan and I ran a carpet, upholstery and cleaning company, I went along to help him with the carpets (fill the carpet
shampooing machine up and move furniture etc)
It was a very big job and of course very tiring. We had obviously quoted an acceptable price and the gentleman was very pleased with our cleaning work. However when Alan had moved the carpet shampooing machine outside and went in for his money the ‘gentleman’ tried to barter him down by quite a lot.
It was pointed out that: -
a) He had agreed to the price and
b) He was satisfied with the work done.
But no he wouldn’t budge and after nearly half an hour we were getting nowhere and tempers were getting shall we say a little frayed round the edges.
Then Alan disappeared and I thought he was leaving me to it but no in he came from outside with the LARGE bucket still containing the dirty, sludgy water from his carpets.” Now sir” he said, “you have 2 choices, either pay the money agreed or the water goes back on your carpet” The look on his face was priceless and I have never seen a wallet opened so quickly in my life. Suffice to say we did get our money. As to whether Alan would have carried out his threat!

With luck you will find this household domestic cleaning tip that gives you useful advice on washing your hands to be of use. You will also find below a further link to other household domestic cleaning tips that make up this series of blogs that I am currently publishing on a regular basis.
Domestic cleaning tip No64 offers advice on washing your hands.
This domestic cleaning tip is aimed more, or at least it ought to be at the younger members of the family. When your children have been outside playing and then come back into the house with absolutely filthy dirty hands as children often do, it is a good practice to get them to wash their hands before they start touching your furniture and laying on carpets as this will save the dirt and filth from falling off their hands onto your furniture and carpets.
This simple bit of advice if followed might well save your carpets requiring many shampooes over a period of time.
New domestic cleaning tips are always more than welcome.
