I am currently writing a series of articles which are aimed at what I call cleaning reduction! Strictly speaking these domestic cleaning tips are focused more on minimising the domestic cleaning requirements of your household, by explaining ways that you can reduce the spread of dirt, grime and germs throughout your property.
Cleaning pots pans and plates
This cleaning reduction tip is or should be quite obvious, when you have finished cooking and eating your food place your dirty pots, pans and plates etc into your dishwater after first scraping the waste off them. If you unfortunately do not posses a dishwasher then wash every thing up by hand. Do not let your washing up build up, as within a couple of days you will find unhealthy mould starting to grow on the food waste.
New cleaning reduction tips are always more than welcome.

I am writing a series of small articles which are aimed at what I call cleaning reduction tips! Strictly speaking these tips are focused more on the minimising of the domestic cleaning requirements in your household, by explaining ways that you can reduce the spread of grime and germs throughout your property.
Chimney sweeping
This tip is or should be quite obvious, if you have a coal fire and instead of hiring a professional chimney sweep you decide to clean your chimney yourself make sure that you cover up your carpets and furniture with old sheets.
Also and more importantly secure a board up against your fire surround and make an hole in it just big enough for your chimney sweep rods to go through as this will drastically reduce the amount of soot that escapes into your room.
This advice if followed will most certainly save your carpets and furniture requiring some intensive cleaning.
New cleaning reduction tips are always more than welcome.

I am writing a series of small articles that are aimed at what I call domestic cleaning reduction! Strictly speaking these cleaning reduction hints are focused more on the minimising of the domestic cleaning requirements in your household, by explaining ways that you can reduce the spread of dirt and germs throughout your household.
Washing your hands
This tip is aimed more, or at least it ought to be at the younger members of the family. When your children have been outside playing and then come back into the house with filthy dirty hands as children often do, it is good practice to get them to wash their hands before they start touching furniture and laying on the carpets as this will save the dirt from falling off their hands onto your furniture and carpets.
This simple bit of advice if followed might well save your carpets requiring many shampooes over the course of time.
New cleaning reduction tips are always more than welcome.

Clean eating cleaning reduction tip
I am writing a series of small articles that are aimed at what I call cleaning reduction! Strictly speaking these cleaning reduction tips are focused more on the minimising of your domestic cleaning requirements in your home, by explaining ways that you can reduce the spread of dirt and germs throughout your household.
Eating clean
This cleaning reduction tip is aimed at preventing the spread of food spillages throughout your property.
It is a good idea to always eat all your meals around a set dining table in your property and not get into a bad habit of eating off your lap or laid out across the living room floor. Often children tend these days to eat away from the dining table and this practice often leads to spillages that not only stain carpets but also crumbs and other food bits can attract vermin into your property.
Make a rule all food should be consumed and eaten at your dining table.
By simply taking care where you eat your food could save you an awful lot of cleaning and also save you needing to phone up rentokill to get rid of vermin.
New cleaning prevention tips are always more than welcome.

Household cleaning reduction tip removing your footwear
I am starting a series of blogs over the forthcoming weeks which will be aimed soley at what I call household cleaning reduction! Strictly speaking these cleaning tips will be focused more on the minimising of domestic household cleaning, explaining ways to stop the spread of grime by reducing and preventing its spread throughout your property.
Think before you trample
No1 on my list is footwear, boots, shoes, trainers, always think before you trample! When you return to your home it is always a very good practice to remove your footwear just before entering your home as it is amazing the amount of dirt and filth that can be deposited throughout your household onto your carpets, tiles and wooden floors if you just can’t be bothered to simply remove your footwear.
Removing your footwear will help minimise the need for shampooing carpets, mopping floors etc, saving your time, money on electricity, cleaning materials and also increase the life span of carpets and wooden floors etc.
Please note that I am producing these cleaning reduction tips in good faith and has such will take no responsibility for any failure or damage that may be caused or attributed by the use of any of the cleaning reduction tips given.
