Many thanks Phil for your important advice, I can not stress on health & safety grounds enough just how important it is to read the advice provided on labels before using chemicals.

When using chemicals such as Hydrogen Peroxide, be careful not to mix with other chemicals, so as to avoid chemical reactions. I knew of a cleaner, who mixed two industrial grade cleaners and produced Hydrochloric Acid in it's gaseous form. As this was done in a confined space the effects were quite severe. Always read the labels and if you need further advice, most Chemists are able to give this.

I've always found hydrogen peroxide in the drug store and scrapes cleaning agent so should be readily available. Hope this helps.

Where can you get hold of hydrogen peroxide - not your average household cleaning solution to be found in the supermarket? Do you use it neat or as a diluted solution? Just wondered because my contact lens cleaner is an hp solution and wondered if it can be used as a cleaning agent.
