Hi Robin,
What a terrific project! Helping others in such a practical way.
You mentioned that you’re always open to extra cleaning tips, so I’ll tell you one of my favorites:
I’m a member of Young Living Essential Oils (operating in the US and the UK and other places too) and we use essential oils for everything. We have a combination of oils called Thieves Household Cleaner, which we use diluted; and it’s useful for every surface + clothing + your skin. You MUST see it, Robin.
I’ll give you my Young Living website as well as our testimonials page:

This can open up a whole new world for you, as far as earning an extra stream of income. Hope it proves good for you, new friend from Twitter.

Hi Robin
Scortch marks in carpets is one thing but how about dirty big burn holes from coal falling out of an open fire?

Matthew,
Unfortunetly larger burn holes usually require a journey down to the local carpet warehouse
