I am producing a list of useful domestic cleaning tips to help you the
public in your ongoing battle to keep your home crystal clean! I am publishing my domestic cleaning tips over the coming days and weeks in a very easy to digest simple one at a time format.
A good way of removing pet hair from furniture is to wrap some sellotape around your hand leaving the sticky side out and then gently stroke over the furniture.

Great tips Robin.. pet hair can be hardest thing to remove.. even if you use a brush it doesnt do a thorough job.. my sisters dog rides in the back of their car on a blanket and she vaccums it, but I reckon it still isnt 100% ..

Our little dogs hair is like little bits of wire and it is prone to weave itself into the fabric and hence can be a real pain to remove.

As the owner of 2 cats, I appreciate the great tip on removing the hair they leave behind on furniture! I have struggled in the effort, yet the hair seems to win, I will have to give your cellophane tape suggestion a try!
