Health & Safety such a boring subject
Health & Safety is a tremendously important issue not only within the workplace but also in all areas and aspects of your life. Myself I did a year long course on the subject of health & safety back at the turn of the century plus also I have attended a few one day health & safety refresher courses.

The point of discussion that I am bringing up although is on a personal basis when I did my main course I found the subject of health & safety to be extremely boring, and although I am not personally guilty of falling asleep during the lectures it is not an exaggeration to say that it was not a rare event to start hearing a fellow student snoring in the class room!
Even the health & safety lecturer admitted on many occasions that it was the most boring subject that he had ever had to teach.
I am interested in hearing other peoples opinions or views on this subject, could it have being the lecturers fault and the way that he taught health & safety as if he found it a boring subject to teach then obviously this can not have helped his teaching style! Or is it just a plain boring subject?

Franchise industry marketing levy
It is a common practice within the franchise industry for a franchisor to charge their franchisees an ongoing monthly or annual fee as a contribution towards or in some cases to finance entirely some form of central advertising or marketing fund appropriate to the needs and idiosyncrasies of their particular franchise business.
Usually the franchisor will keep the marketing levy fund in a totally separate bank account and will produce yearly accounts to show where this money as being used.
At any time a franchisee usually as an automatic right to ask to view the latest copy of the marketing levy accounts. The marketing levy fund is not for the use of the franchisor it is entirely for the franchise businesses ongoing marketing and brand building requirements as an whole.
Franchisees although in most franchise businesses are made aware that most if not all local advertising and marketing is still down to them, the marketing levy is more for national advertising, marketing, publicity and building the franchise companies brand on a national level which in effect should benefit the complete franchise group of businesses.

Fairy liquid washing up liquid
I have decided to run a series of blogs which will describe a few of the many domestic cleaning products that can be found in the United Kingdom today. The first cleaning product to come under the spot light is possibly the most well known and equally most used which is Fairy liquid.
Fairy liquid is mostly used for washing up your pots, pans, plates. dishes and cutlery after having eaten your meal.
To use fairy liquid just squeeze a very small quantity of Fairy liquid into your washing up bowl and then pour in your hot water. You will find that the smallest quantity is all that is required for each dish washing session as unlike some of the cheaper options a small amount of Fairy liquid goes an awful long way. Fairy liquid also makes cleaning your dirty items so much easier and leaves them glistening clean and smelly wonderfully fresh.
Fairy liquid comes available in two different sizes which are 500ml bottles and 1L bottles.
Also there is a choice of four different fragrances to choose from which are Strawberry Flame, Lemon Twister, Apple Quake, Passion Flower Storm.
The Fairy Liquid website can be found at Fairy scent sensations
Do you use Fairy liquid? or do you prefer to use a different washing up liquid?

Taglines slogans headlines help required
I am currently trying to dream up new slogans, headlines or taglines for my companies advertising literature (A5 leaflets A6 cards) in the hope of catching more potential clients eyes.
If anyone can come up with any unique ideas or suggestions for possible headlines, slogans or taglines I would be very grateful, although I can’t guarantee that I would use them of course.
A few of my past efforts that I have used with success are:-
Finding housework a chore? …. Then help is on hand!
Would you like more freedom in your life-at an affordable price?
Need a break from cleaning … then look no further!
I have also come up with many other variations that I haven’t used such as:-
Do you wish for domestic bliss?
Let us fight your grime
Need a clean break!
I like the last one above but I have never used it as I am afraid that it could give the impression that our cleaners could be very destructive!
Obviously with slogans, taglines or headlines they need to be eye catching and where possible unique.
For the record if my few examples haven’t enlightened you already I run a domestic cleaning agency providing domestic cleaners to domestic households.
